We would also like our site to be a website of comfort. We all know the joy of getting a new puppy, the laughter and funny stories along the way. We also know the heartache at the end of the journey. When we take a new dog into our family, we know he or she will grow old or sick and leave us someday, but we also know the comfort and love these wonderful creatures give us, makes it all worthwhile. When we lose a furry friend, we grieve for a time and then when the time is right, we choose to start all over and love again. Each dog keeps its own special place in our heart.

Dog stories offer comfort and healing and learning. They take us back in time to a dog we owned and the stories that live in our memory or maybe to our present companion with stories of today. They allow us to ponder what love and loyalty and acceptance really mean.

We have posted stories of the dogs in our family and will post more as time goes on. Most of these stories are original, written exclusively for this site. You will not see them on other sites. Many of them are written from a dog's viewpoint. Please take a moment to read them. They will warm your heart and give you comfort.
