Toys play a big part in my dog's lives. They have an open toy box (large plastic box) where we keep their numerous toys. Each has a favorite. In general though, they play with all of their toys. Sometimes, they play tug of war, sometimes each has his own toy in his own little world, sometimes they use them for comfort as I find them snoozing with toys at their side, or sometimes they just need something to do and toys seem to fit the bill. I have noticed sometimes they are looking for a particular toy, as they dig in the toy box until they find it.
Needless to say, toys are a wonderful asset to a dog's life.
